Here are a few of my shots of guitarist extrordinaire Frank Infante at the "BC Butcher" World Premiere at the Egyptian Theatre. It was quite a night and I was delighted to finally capture Frank for the wire. I’ve known Frank for sometime now. It all started when he asked what I thought of bi focal lens at a gig Dawn Laureen invited us too at BB Kings in Universal City. I actuay had bi fo also and Frank had gotten tri focals. At the time we were adjusting to our news glasses and weren’t very happy with them. Spring ahead a few months I found myself joining Frank and Authur “Killer” Kane of the New York Dolls at the front bar of The Troubadour for a fun chat on Rock and Roll. Never in my eldest dreams had thought I’d be hanging with these Rock icons! I really hangout with Frank and look forward to it happening again in the future. Frank is the coolest! Today is Frank’s birthday. Frank is turning 69! By the end of #theseventies , they were far and away the most commercially successful survivors of the #newyorkpunk scene, with 3 platinum albums (#parallellines #eattothebeat and #autoamerican ) and an int’l recognition factor for bleached-blond lead singer Deborah Harry.
