In Turkey we have these old calenders that has girl and boy names of the month but they're usually different names bc the're old calenders and when my mom was pregnant she was flipping the pages to look for a name for a girl and this name was on the month i was gonna born in so she searched the name and liked it. I'm glad she did tho I wouldn't change my name to the world.

That's such a cool story. I can't believe you live in Turkey. The internet is a wonderful thing. My name story isn't nearly as interesting. Frankie isn't my birth name, but my parents literally just saw my birth name in a book and was like "dope." But I actually chose the name Frankie while eating Culver's one afternoon with my mom because I had come out as genderfluid and wanted a name to fit that. Frankie just fit the best and while I don't really identify with being genderfluid anymore, Frankie still fits me better than my birth name ever did.

What do you do for your job? I feel like you usually are working at night?

It's really lame, but I'm a store associate for a gas station. I'm usually a closer, and depending on what store I'm at, I can get home anywhere from 10-11:30. It's kinda draining, but I make better money than I ever have and I'm kinda sorta allowed to be on my phone cuz there's not much to do after a certain point. But yeah. That's my job. Fun times telling people to put on a fucking mask because it's mandated in the county I work in. Great time.
