Hello! I have a quick question In my hurt/comfort writing, I sometimes need to start off with some angst, sometimes heavy, in order to get to that feeling of needed comfort For this event, what would you classify as too much angst? It always ends in comfort (or something of the sort), but I was wondering what was preferred for this in particular! Thank you, and i look forward to participating!

Though this is an event focusing on comfort, I know many of us enjoy reading at least some hurt leading into it; the bitter angst makes the comfort all the sweeter!
I'm definitely not going to be policing that sort of thing, though since you asked, I would encourage a good balance—giving yourself (and the characters!) a nice soft payoff for the rough lead up. Obviously what makes a 'good payoff' is subjective, so at the end of the day, as long as your work follows the other main theme for this event (gen/platonic focus), I think you should write what comforts you, and then tag appropriately.
