the matron of the bar carmen inherited it from her late husband is known for her “keep it at the door attitude,” and if you can’t do that, take it to the basement and duke it out like civil folk. the bartender has a reputation for being a bit of a ladies man, and denver can’t seem to stay out of the business of the patrons--he’s got a way for worming information out of people. the half giant, giselle, can’t seem to find a man that can handle all of her, and hasn’t taken the time to look down at the wet napkin of an angel, demetrius, trying not to stare at her too hard as he drowns his memories in beer. it’s kind of cute, actually.

these two were huge on tiktok a few years ago but liz and kala have gone their separate ways. at least, kala is trying to-- liz dropped dead and won’t leave! don’t ghosts have rights, too? her name’s on the lease, isn’t it? it’s hard to rent out a room when the resident ghost goes full poltergeist tantrum mode when you try to post online about it. liz isn’t leaving without a fight, and kala needs help.
