I hate Sonic fandom (Twitter mostly but yk) because for some reason, people think SEGA removed the character ages to avoid shipping and/or NSFW content discourse ??!! Like I honestly don't think they give a flick about either of those things? I immediately thought it was done so they can have time pass in the series without directly having to age up or change the characters instead of making it "All Sonic games happen in the span of less than a year" and Sonic being able to have his birthday without actually ever aging, or something? Doesn't that... Make more sense? I also don't like when people argue "Well they can own houses and drive cars, so obviously they can't be less than 18 anymore!" when Sonic has always worked on cartoon/anime logic. Majority of shonen protags are doing insane stuff while also still being in middle or high school, it's not that crazy ok? 😭 Also I want Zavok badly
