After buying antique painted furniture in Italy and Paris for many years, we developed techniques to add even more layers of detail. This is a vintage Dutch cabinet. The interior was natural wood. Our client asked if we could paint the interior. We selected a darker tint of the exterior color. Washes and white wax did the trick. We don’t just paint furniture, each piece is coordinated with the room and fabric colors.
