This is the last OC post I swear (I'm lying) but new OC this is so addicting I'm gonna be stacked out for art fight

I'll make some SU artwork soon trust (maybe tomorrow, I'm tired)

Also am currently listening to Steven Universe podcasts with some of the cast (I may or may not only be listening to hear Amethysts voice)

Also wow she has freckles and I named her freckles I'm so very very creative

Also her head hair serves as her tail as well

Can you tell what animals I was inspired by? (It's a hybrid)

Currently working on an Aquaball request long over due (and then Kirby)

I'm looking at one of you very seriously because I know you are starved of Aquaball (I'm eyeballing you veeeryyy obviously... veerryryyyyyy obviou-)

The Aquaball post will either be by today (I doubt it) or tomorrow (absolutely at LEAST tomorrow, some time between then and now) please don't get your hopes up though it's not that good

It’s time to spout a bunch of info about my newsies ocs!!!!

Okay I’m trash here we go, only doing the older girls but let’s do this

FRECKLES

- 17 at the time of the strike

- has been in the refuge twice, once before she became a newsie, once while she was a newsie

- hella bi

- she got her name cause, ya know, she’s covered in freckles

- she’s got a little sister named Caps, who escaped from the cops and became a newsie when Freckles first got taken to the refuge

- both she and Caps are half Korean and proud

- she’s got a lovely girlfriend named Ant, and is best friends with Marie

- Manhattan

- loves skirts so much like wow

- she’s like 6’3”, so... very tall

- Freckles, climbing up a pole to yell at people from above: THREE DEAD IN TROLLEY STRIKE, YA HEARD THE STORY RIGHT HERE GET YA PAPES

- Freckles: “now remember Caps, lying is bad.”

- Caps: “but you just-“

-Freckles: “shh”

- excitable!!! Loves birds so much

ANT

- Also 17 at the time of the strike

- was in the refuge once, but only for about a week before Freckles and Marie busted her out

- she’s very small but very strong, just like an ant

- no living family, but she sells with a smaller kid named Skipper

- she’s poly, and is dating both Freckles and Marie, who are like “you guys!!! Look at our gf!!”

- Brooklyn

- likes wearing shorter pants and sleeveless shirts

- very forgetful. She lost her cap, her newsie bag, her shoes... someone save her

- 4’11” so she often gets mistaken for a child. But hey, younger sells more papes

- pretty shy, but can be loud on accident

- “HEY MISTAH” oh fuck too loud uh I mean “heyyyy mistaaaah”

MARIE

- not a newsie, but makes costumes for Medda

- 16 at the time of the strike

- was actually in the refuge at the time of the strike, but not for long

- panromantic asexual

- “why have sex when I could have a hotdog”

- dating Ant and best friends with Freckles

- she loves dresses so much. She’s more well-off then Ant and Freckles (Like Davey and Les compared to Jack) so she can afford slightly nicer clothes

- very sassy like ya know that video that’s like “I may not know my flowers but I know a bitch when I see one”? That’s her

- out of her, Freckles, and Ant, she is the most likely to throw down with anyone

- Marie, in the theatre crying on the floor in a pile of fabric: “I’m gonna die alooone”

- sneakes Ant and Freckles In for cute dates in the theatre

- “I’m getting kinda... hungry.... *pulls an entire hotdog out of her bag*

Tried a bit of digital art. I know it’s not all that good, but I feel like trying things and posting them is a good habit to get into. From left to right this is Freckles, Ant, and Marie.
