I’ve just realised that Peault is probably better described as an illustrator than a designer but I thought of him to be a designer when I first saw his work. The concepts are beautiful and the use of space is bright to the eye. He challenges real life and replaces them with ideas of surrealism which I love. E.g- Astronauts arriving by train, a guy rowing ‘up’ a waterfall etc. Him as well as many of the people I have researched in this task, encourage me to not always make my work so busy and that clean cut designs are just as impactful.
