Fred Postles le monde s'endort dans une chaude lumière
The idea to put this book together came to me while reading Charles Baudelaire's "L'Invitation au Voyage", from which the title of the book is taken.
For me, sunsets are a wondrous thing. At their best, they are fleeting moments of radiant colour and intense beauty. They are a reminder of the beauty of the world but also of the incessant passing of time: as the sun sets in one place, it rises in another. One day becomes the next. Personally, I find their ephemerality absorbing; I love to stop for a while and do nothing other than watch the sun set: it’s a kind of mindfulness, bringing my attention back to the present moment and the world around me. It’s during these moments that many of the photographs in this book were taken. ____
The photographs form an interesting story that each person experiences in a different way. Every place is special, and sunrises and sunsets are inevitable; they bring different feelings to us and create memories that are forever. Fred's photographs will inspire you to cherish them all the more!

We at WANDER love supporting artists and any way we can help them back their projects. Being a professional artist is no different than any other paid labour. Many artists have gone to art school, spent plenty of time and money taking classes, improving skills, purchasing equipment, and even need money for gas so they can share their adventures with us. The best way we can help them is by promoting both their digital and physical creations.
Get in touch with us if you have a project you’d like us to share!
