Happy Birthday Freddie my angel man, you have been apart of my life since before I could talk, I watching Top Hat, Swing Time, Easter Parade, and Holiday Inn when all I could do was crawl to the T.V, and I must have loved you a lot then too because I remembered your voice and your name. When I was a kid would watch Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town in which you were the narrator, I can remember sitting and staring up at your animated self, and I just loved your voice, I thought it was so comforting and I was sure I had heard it somewhere before. Then when I was 10 I remembered your name, I knew how to spell it and I knew your were in a great dancing team with Ginger, but somehow I convinced myself it actually pronounced ASStire. You have made me so happy and influenced me beyond belief, I know if you were here right now( which would have been a feat in itself) you would be to bashful to accept the world’s praise, but I hope your up there in heaven having a swell time.
