Asher had been brought to the bar with his roommate. He was excited to be going to a school that so many people wanted to be at, so he was wanting to celebrate. He was slowly sipping onto his drink, waiting to see if there were any guys that were good looking enough for his liking. He was scanning the room when he locked eyes with a guy that was just his type. He swallowed his drink quickly as he told his roommate that he was going to try and get this guy’s attention.

He walked up to the other, ordering a drink from the bar as he turned to him. “I got to say, you caught my eye. No one around here is nearly as alluring as you.”

          It was a good conversation, but it was always a good conversation when music was involved. However, Tyler kept getting the sense that he should’ve known the person he was talking to. People would pass by and look at him, Declan was his name, but he couldn’t come up with anything. “Should I like, know who you are, or something?” Tyler chuckled. “Why do people keep looking over at us?” He knew it wasn’t him, he came here all the time. It probably the only thing he could ever actually commit to, so people knew him, and he wasn’t special so no one looked at him. It had to be the blonde sitting beside him. @freddiemxrcury

This was a pretty big deal for Duncan. He only recently took over the theater from his father, and since then he had been looking to land something that would show not only his dad, but everyone else that he was perfectly capable of being in charge of the establishment. He heard a few things here and there about the movie inspired by Bernie’s book, but nothing in depth. It was only when he got a call from the author about making plans for a private screening of the sci-fi flick that he did his own research. The movie seemed like it was going to be pretty big, there seemed to be a lot of hype building around it. That may or may not have been the leading reason why he agreed to the idea, it was exactly what he had been looking for. He was loitering around the main lobby of the theater, chatting with workers while he waited for the other.

He was in the middle of a highly important conversation about a soda spill on one of the screening rooms when he heard the familiar voice. He turned his head, eyes widening slightly when he actually got a look Bernie. He had only spoken to him on the phone, he never actually saw a picture of him before (so much for his research). He only wished he knew earlier just how good looking the other man was, he definitely would have dressed a lot sharper than he actually did. “Ah, hi there. You must be Bernie.” He greeted, his accent thick as he extended his hand for him to shake. “We couls go back into my office, unless you’d wanna talk about this over lunch? I could step away for a few minutes.”

          “Yeah, I’ll stop fucking up when you stop distracting me with your gorgeous face,” Preston said to Ava from the recording booth, obviously being flirty, but this was exactly why he rarely brought her to the recording studio with him. Way too much of a distraction. After finally getting through his last song of the day, Pres stepped out of the booth and opened his arms to engulf his gorgeous girlfriend in a hug. “Alright, I'm free and all yours for the day... what is it you wanted to do? Shopping? I don’t know, I'm going, to be honest, I wasn’t really listening.” Preston’s been sober for a while now and he felt like he was ready for love. “hey --” veronica says, surprised to see them in her doorway. it’s not unwelcome. though, part of her wonders if her husband had been checking the security camera footage the past few days ... he’d be seeing a lot of the face in front of her. it was an off day for the blonde, taking the day to lounge by the pool in a sense of potential relaxation. instead, it simply turned to a day of her nonstop thinking. she would've thrown on a towel had she known they'd be coming, but instead, she's simply in her two peice. “come by for a swim?” it’s more nonchalant than it’s intended to be, though she’s sure they had other ideas.

donovan never took himself seriously. he liked to joke and play tricks, amusing himself and generally others in the process. however, one person in particular did not find him all that amusing, and donovan took that personally as a challenge. to see danielle minding her own business in the thirft store seemed like the perfect opportunity to get on her nerves. walking into the store, donovan snuck around as to not be seen, snatching her phone from her hand when he approached. “wow! you should really lay off the filters here. how would people know it’s you?”

     THIS WAS THE LAST TIME that she let spirit forget about her. she knew that her cousin was always off with one of her boyfriends, or both at the same time, or with her younger sibling, but amethyst wanted girl time. she had a measly amount of friends that could be counted on one hand despite a sizeable two million instagram followers and sometimes, she got lonely. spirit was her closest friend, her blood, but sometimes her cousin made her feel expendable. at least, she told herself, she could lure luca over with the promise of free pancakes. legs tucked up under her in the dingy ihop booth, the raven haired beauty flagged down the waiter and ordered his coffee to prove that she was indeed, meeting someone. it was smug, she’d admit, but the man had been growing increasingly wary of her persistence that she was waiting for someone, and amethyst only broke out in the widest of smiles when she saw luca and childishly pointed out,    ‘    see, i said i was meeting someone. he’s right here.    ’
