Rain and Alone (1st Imagine)
It finally happened. The one thing you always wanted but in the most unexpected of times.
Your parents kicked you out, though yes you always wanted to leave their toxic ass but you never thought it'd be them kicking you out and that be during such an extreme weather. It was raining as hell and even though you enjoy the thunder and rain, right now wasn't the ideal time to stare in awe at it.
Looking back at the closed wooden door you sighed as you adjusted your small bag, only having a limited time to collect some of your belongings as your parents shouted down your neck, belittled you, but it was normal by now and their words did not even touch the surface of your emotions. You were as numb as you could ever be.
Wearing a bored expression you began your journey, to wherever. Maybe you die from starvation on these very streets, come to think of it there was no point in packing, it's not like you had somewhere to go.
After walking for about half an hour the weather just got as worse, the rain did not even want to stop as thunder boomed ahead of you, lighting graced the sky, even if your situation was dragged deep into the gutters, you still let a small smile play on your lips as you stared at the scenery before you, it was indeed gorgeous.
"A walk in the rain? You really do love getting your clothes soaked, don't you?" A voice spoke behind you, you stopped as you turned back.
There stood a guy, average height, slim, long raven hair, his choice of clothing was of a higher taste - it suited him.
"Dear, you could stare at me all day if you'd like but I don't think you're quite fond of getting pneumonia out here." He smiled as he put his hands on his hips.
I furrowed my eyebrows at him before rolling my eyes, "I was admiring your clothing style, no need to flatter yourself over it." I said in a monotone, shaking my head I carried on walking, ignoring the fact that he still stood behind me.
Faint footsteps echoed behind me before I saw him next to me, he looked at me and smiled before looking forward,"Well, I do appreciate that you love my clothing style, dear, but don't mind me asking, why would you ever think of being out right now? It's q-"
"Well, Mister, I didn't decide to take this walk. In case you can't see this bag on my back, I'll make it easier for you to understand that I've been kicked out and I shall wonder around till God knows how long. Maybe I'll be a mercy for the rats and let them feast on me."
I adjusted my bag once again before I stared at him, he wasn't looking at me but he did cringe a little at my last sentence.
He looked back at me, a look of confusion flashed in his eyes before being wiped away by a look full of concern,"Why don't you come and stay with me? I mean, I live alone and most of the time I'm at the studio so you'd have the house to yourself, it won't be uncomfortable, well I hope it wouldn't."
"I don't even know you, for all I know you could be a murderer, planning for your next prey right now." I scoffed as I took a right turn, the rain got heavier and the thundering became unbearingly loud, my face was painted with fast droplets of rain running down on my cheeks.
"You're right. I could be a murderer, but do you think a murderer could wait to lure its prey in the rain for this long? Darling, I'm soaked! If I was a murderer I'd a) would have picked you up and be done with it or b) just leave. I don't like getting wet."
I laughed as I thought about it. I mean, either I stay at a complete strangers home or get feasted by rats today. As much as I loved creatures and feeding them, I guess today was not the day. I looked at my right towards him and bit the inside of my cheeks as I pretended to think, he looked nervous, as if I'd say no or worse, yes.
"Well I guess you're right. If you're going to kill me though, do make it quick, and i better not die in a boring old fashioned way."
He placed his hands over his mouth as he laughed, I smiled at his cute gestures but I also noted how insecure he felt.
"Don't cover them," I said as I stopped and put my bag down, he looked at me confused and was about to speak up again but I beat him to it, "Your teeth, they actually suit you and make you look cute."
He chucked nervously and was about to cover them again but I grabbed his hand halfway and stared at him dead in the eye, "If you cover it once more, I'll chop your hands off." He looked bewildered as he laughed, he didn't get to cover them as I grabbed both of his hands, he bent forward as he laughed harder and soon I was laughing too.
"And you call me a murderer?" He said in between laughs, he stood up straight and removed some stray of wet hair away from his face, smiling at me he shook his head, "Let's just go home. I don't know about you rain lovers, but I'm freezing as hell, God!" He said as he tried to straighten his shirt under his floral jacket.
I laughed at his gesture, "Touching it like that won't make it dry, and cold hearted people like us," I said as I pointed towards myself, "don't feel cold at all, in fact me love it, but yes, for your sake I'll let you take me to your house."
He rolled his eyes before grabbing my bag off the ground, "Not too heavy, you sure didn't plan anything for the long term." He said as he inspected my belongings, only to be met with a whole load of books and some cash.
"Well, I already told you that I had expected to be mauled my rats and God knows what other animal, so yes, I did not plan for the long term. Didn't even think I'd make it past midnight."
He looked up at me, looking a bit concerned before he clicked his tongue and zipped the bag back up and slung it over his shoulder.
"Dont worry, dear. You're coming with me, I guarantee you that you won't be mauled by any creature whatsoever tonight, unless you have a kink for those things then I apologise for the dissapointment."
I hit his arm as I scoffed at his remark, he laughed once again as he grabbed my hand into his, leading us back to God knows wherever.
Maybe being with a complete stranger isn't so bad, even if he is a murderer, at least I won't be alone.
"Y/n." I said softly as I stared up at the sky, loving the feeling of the cold drops of rain on my face, it had got a bit softer now but it was still raining.
I felt his stare on me as I heard his voice escape through the loud thunder that had just made itself apparent.
"Freddie."
