When @richmfnquick, @chucktreece & I were finishing up the #SadSongzEp in 2012, the last song we did was called “LLzH (Love Lives Here)”. Chuck, @angularism (Jason Jordan who co-released the EP w/ us) & myself thought that THIS song was DEFINITELY single material and were really stoked on it.. For whatever RQ’s reasons, he opted to leave “LLzH” off the #SadSongzEP.. Fast forward a couple months and my bro Tim Armstrong @timtimebomb reached out about co-collaborating with me and some of the best HipHop artists I work with (@richmfnquick, @lostcauze, @outerspaceaotp, #FreddyMadball, @onegoldtooth. etc.). Tim really liked “LLzH” and he and the squad with @kevinsweatshop flipped “LLzH” into Tim Timebomb & Friends feat Rich Quick and called it “STAY TRUE”. Listening back to the lyrics to this song, I hear so many relevant things concurrent to this whole situation... Someone said to me yesterday that I have the beautiful music we created together that Rich can live on forever with me..
