Freddie Lounds is so much more likable to me than Freddy Lounds (in the books) and idk if it’s just that I’m more easily manipulated by a pretty lady than a slimy little rat man but in the show I’m like “I can kind of respect a woman who’s being a bitch” but in the book I was like “alright Francis get moving here I’m done with this guy”

I feel like it’s a little crazy that Thomas Harris named two major side characters Frederick like… I’ve never met a Frederick in my life?? I’ve lived in multiple states and worked a lot of jobs where I need to know the name of everyone coming in and I’ve never met a Frederick????

I am vaguely upset by the fact that in Red Dragon Chilton and Lounds have the same first name. It's like CSI where there are two Davids! Was it really necessary to have two Frederick's in this Thomas Harris? Was it really?
