Tom Baker, who played the 4th Doctor on Doctor Who, guest starred on the Remington Steele episode "Hounded Steele" that aired on May 15, 1984. In a bit of role reversal, he played a detective who was the antagonist of the episode and J.D. Cannon played a retired jewel thief who was the guest protagonist.
