Women: A Lost Peoples
I am so confused about the appearance of women. While researching the "Free Amina" movement a rush of emotions came to me. The first feeling was,"Wow, look at these heroic women shaking their boobies in protest in hopes of equality for women". But as I continued my research I realized that these women were (one) mostly European and (two) were taking a very imperialistic approach. I became more infuriated with the entire movement because as an African American woman I thought, "who are these white bitches trying to make a point that Muslim or Arab women are oppressed by their husbands. In actuality, aren't we all fucking oppressed! Arab women suffer from eating disorders just as much as western women. White feminist y'all need to stop! I know too many Muslim women who are nothing less than Boss Bitches-- who don't need no man!
