Alo Yoga Are Gifting Free NFTs To Customers In-Store
Physical shoppers visiting Alo Yoga are able to get free NFTs in-store, thanks to their partnership with web3 company, Moon Pay. Starting on Friday, every Alo Yoga store across the US is now offering free digital collectibles to customers. To get hold of one of these NFTs, shoppers will need to visit one of the physical stores and find an NFC terminal labeled 'tap for mindfulness.' When customers scan their phones here, they'll be redirected to a site that allows them to get their free NFT. These NFTs will change daily and some include positive affirmations for Mental Health Awareness Month.
By offering free daily NFTs to their customers, Alo Yoga hopes that they can encourage their clients to take part in the web3 space in a meaningful, easy, and friendly way. Their NFTs are stored on the Ethereum blockchain, which is the blockchain that is usually the most familiar. Additionally, their partnership with Moon Pay has been made with supporting web3 beginners in mind, as Moon Pay's digital asset minting system is user-friendly and suitable for those new to the space. The Global Head of Marketing at Alo Yoga expressed enthusiasm at being able to onboard customers in a familiar environment.
