In light of recent happenings (on my world) I am establishing a program to every region with a known Dimensional Nexus Door Line (Galar, Hoenn, Unova, Paldea, and Sinnoh) to help with the prosperity and integration of a vulnerable group known as "Shifters". Warning now that the first paragraph is not for the faint of heart. If you want to skip it I carry no judgement. Also it's rather long, so I'm putting it under a Read More to be considerate
Now first, to explain what a Shifter is. At multiple points within my dimensional travels, my friends and I have crossed paths with a megacorp called VermilineCorp, or V-Corp. This company has proven hostile on all occasions of meeting, including one time one year ago where they attacked Pokeworld directly. Now why is this relevant? Well, one of their main "products" were a race of artificially created but fully sentient shapeshifters that they mass-produced to be sold as slaves - the Shifters (V-Corp has a different name for them but I refuse to use it). Due to them being fully sentient, V-Corp had a practice of putting each Shifter through a year-long "training" program designed to rid them of any sense of agency or personhood.

Whenever we see these Shifters, we (the Nebula Incursionists - my friends and I) make it a point to save them from V-Corp and bring them somewhere they can live freely. That said, we weren't encountering V-Corp often enough - or saving enough Shifters - to merit a full program until now, when we took one of V-Corp's main factories and brought nearly every Shifter there to safety. Thus, we decided to form a program to help Shifters live as free beings and find their place in our world.
As most Shifters already know things like life skills by heart, the program instead focuses on helping them embrace their autonomy and also helping them find things that interest them. Hopefully even helping them find the same levels of success as my dear friend Opportunity (Oppy), a Shifter freed 1 year ago, now a Champion-Class Pokemon Trainer (Hoenn League)

Already, the regions above are beginning to implement the Program, so you might see several of the pink-haired young women around. If you'd like to volunteer for the Program, great! We do have a tight vetting process, but we could use more friends for the Shifters. Aside from just generally being supportive and encouraging, the biggest thing to remember with them is to never ask them to do anything directly, due to how deeply the slave mentality is ingrained in them. If you must ask a favor of them, take great caution to reaffirm their free will when you do. This mostly applies to recently freed Shifters, but I would say better safe than sorry
