DESTINATION! History and fabulous memories. This is our home, the historical Masonic Temple building. Ah! It has been a full circle for ME. When I moved to Grand Rapids, my first relevant gig was here in this same building. Teaching ballet, modern dance, jazz and yoga for what used to be, the long lasting location for the School of Grand Rapids Ballet - in the basement of the Masonic Center. Making a full 360, I came back here 15 years later, in the Spring of 2012. And Voila’! Now, Armentality Movement Arts Center is on the 6th floor. I remodeled the gorgeous maple wood floor myself, and a lovely team of friends helped with the painting. In addition to all our classes and workshops, it is also home to other performing and holistic arts professionals, we host conferences, guest teachers and functions as an intimate performance venue.
