The word legend is totally overused these days, and has been somewhat devalued. But @h2otrails @fenwickridley has undertaken some legendary feats in the past, and is a really inspirational coach. He's an ice swimming champion, and anyone who uses an axe to cut holes and channels in ice to swim through is definitely inspirational, if not quite a legend (other less positive terms may apply). Anyone who has both swum and paddleboarded the length of the Tyne is definitely up there. Mix that with his promotion of open water swimming for positive mental health, and support of mental health charities, his SUP instruction business, and the fact that he's a published music producer (check him out on @soundcloud ), and we are absolutely convinced he is an ABSOLUTE LEGEND. The ones who inspire us, who make us strive to be better people, a better company. Who make the world seem a better place, and whose posts or company brighten up the gloomiest of days. We're doing this as part of an initiative we're calling #thegreatreset (yes, we know, but think it's funny) We hope that by resharing content from real inspirational people and profiles, rather than #influencers, we'll reset our #insta feed. And we hope it can help you do the same! So every day we're going to focus on one (or in this case two closely related) profiles. Follow them to be inspired! Leafy Kingston Upon Thames isn’t necessarily the first place you think of as a perfect paddleboarding location. However, Rachel set up SUP4 after being made redundant from a corporate world that she had fallen out of love with. Paddleboarding had been a growing passion, and Rachel’s relief from the stresses of the corporate world, and she’d long been planning to leave that world and set up SUP4 as a lifestyle business. And the redundancy was the ‘kick’ that made it happen. Over the last twelve months we watched proudly as someone we now call a friend has grown her business into something truly special. Based literally on the water (the whole business runs from a boat), Rachel has been inspiring new and nervous paddleboarders, and developing improving paddleboarders to find their freedom!
