Day 357 of 365 Miss you more every day my brother... this music thing is such a lonely place ..and lonlier without you here!!! Life is such a crazy and fleeting string of moments... Doing my best to make you proud. But I could use your lead right now!!!... on the wings of doves... May you hear my prayer May you fly high with the angels above May I Find the strength and wisdom To build upon this undiscovered kingdom... I have so many questions... What's the toughest thing about your job The toughest thing about my job.  Well I guess I would have to break it down into 3 areas of business:  sales, production and customer service.  Each one of these is just as important than the other.  This is the Trifecta of freelance.  Without any 1 part the machine quits moving, making these three elements so important.  So to be clear out of the 3 the hardest would be sales.  To begin let's just say we are a people person(s) here at DPomales/DPomalesCreative.  We are very much interested in meeting and getting to know the person(s) behind the scenes and beyond the needs of business.  Creating a rapport is our 1st step in any relationship we encourage; be it business or pleasure.  This is why we are such a customer service oriented/acclimated platform/service.  We have your best interest at heart always.  We are here to be of service!  We sincerely care for our clients as well as the importance of their business needs.  Many of our clients have also become friends down the road.  It's all just how we do business.  Production, we'll that's what we call going behind the green curtain, meeting the Oz...or entering the Cutting Room Floor.  Production is simply what we do.  It's where the magic happens be it on a laptop or on location.  We know how to produce!  We know how to create phenomenal results..  This is where we...Wow!!...the client.  But while in Production mode we are all in!  Eyes and focus are dedicated to completing the job or task.  We have our eyes on the prize,, zeroed in like a hawk.  This is where we feel most at home!  So why is sales so hard, well when we are occupied with Production or Customer Care, there's not enough mouth or ability to also do sales.  This is why most companies have a sales team, but when you are freelance you are the sales team.  (see the rest of story on LinkediN at davidpomales.)  #toughestjobs #freelance #freelance101 #life101 #lifehacks #mentalhealth #mentalhealthatwork #business #beyourownsuperhero #business101 #sales #sales101 #customerservice #production (at Linkedin.com) https://www.instagram.com/p/CX17TlmrNLZ/?utm_medium=tumblr

Who inspires you Well I may sound narcissistic or like an ego freak, though I am not.  But who inspires me most is Me!  Through thick and thin.. through good times and bad I have been there to pull myself up and to figure out whatever issues or problems I've had to resolve.  I must give thanks to my God for his divine help.  I must thank my family and friends for being there when I needed them, but noone else did the work but me!  I've been pushing myself since a second chance was given to me.  I got here because of my abilities and spirit to become a better version of me. If I had to decide who was my biggest inspiration it would have to be the ME that climbed out of the darkness and into the light when it was demanded of me.  If anyone else inspired me, it was my wife for leaving me, when things were out of control. She showed me that my bullshit (Rx addiction/alcoholism/undiagnosed: PTSD/Bipolarism) was over and that my lack of action or support (due to a head injury) would come with a heavy price, for the sake of the children.  When she left me I felt alone and scared, angry even.  But after tucking my tail and moving back home I decided to go cold turkey as I entered the door of my parents home!  In short, the wife inspired me by showing me courage. I in turn, showed/taught myself bravery and humility. If anyone else inspires me, it would be my parents for their many years of dedication together and their unwavering LooVe that allowed me to come home at my worst.  They never flinched or batted an eye.  Their solidarity has always been amazing.  They taught me unconditional love.  They showed me to love myself again.  I again, inspired myself by following my heart and for going cold turkey.  I Love myself for choosing me.. I remained disciplined and never allowed my will to falter.
