Sometimes as a freelancer, you have to laugh.
I literally just had someone block me, because apparently I lied.
They asked if I was familiar with a game, and I said yes. I am. Because they are one of those ads that pop up on Facebook everyday. Not to mention there are a million rip offs of said game. I am familiar with it, but that doesn't mean I play it.
Seriously, I am familiar with Lord of the Rings, but I've never watched or read them. I am familiar with Metallica, but I have never streamed an album. Considering I get people from these gaming companies that want me to write their gameplay, it's not uncommon for people to ask if I am familiar with certain games - so I can make them a rip off version. (I never do, BTW).
But since I never played them (because I am not interested in the game) I am apparently a liar? I don't think they realize the term familiar can be used loosely.
Anyways I just wanted to come to the void and vent. Not really a big deal. Probably dodged a bullet if they are that easily upset, anyways.
