Rolling back to 2014 where me and my team #Freemagination won Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship Awards for #TelkomUniversity after we went through so many obstacle since the administration selection-product presentation-and the final stage (where we literally didn't sleep to work on our final stage) where we should analyze how come the Songket price that produced by an amazing hand skills of Pandai Sikek weavers is way cheaper in Pandai Sikek-Padang (where it was made, beautifully) than the price of Songket in the market which are sold through distributors. We should express our opinion of how it affects the Pandai Sikek Songket weavers prosperity and how we would solve that problem. And as a cool IT people (lol kidding, still a long way to go, tho), we offer the idea of how Information System can really help the weavers to build their own market without any 'help' from the avaricious distributors. It was a great great experience of winning for me. How the passion and pressure are blended in a certain period of limited time there. And there we were, brought a victory home for Telkom University and #Bandung! Good old days. (at Koto Padang, Sumatera Barat, Indonesia)
