Martin Freeman was the reason I fell in love with Sherlock. The opening scene in A Study in Pink just drew me in and I wanted to know more of the man that was sitting so desolately in his bed sit. Sherlock Holmes was brilliant of course but I wanted to see his conductor of light.
I loved that Martin was unlike other actors. I always loved how you could tell so much of the story from his expressions. He communicated so much through his actions. Then came the freebeard and oh my god! If I had an admiration for him before it turned into complete love for this talented actor who I feel is completely under appreciated. I hope that he’s cast in more roles that allow him to showcase what an amazing actor he truly is.
