I had a total blast at Kupocon (Freepom!), with my sister and two of my friends last weekend. I decided to go as Zack because that boy needs more love and I dearly hope we see something of him in FF7r when it comes out!
The guests were amazing; Rachel Robinson (Fang, FFXIII) was lovely and was giving me tips for treating my laryngitis. John Bentley (Barret, FFVIIr) was a goddamn legend. He spent time with us all in the lobby on Friday night, chatting to everyone. On Saturday he took time to talk to everyone that got a signature from him and he partied the night away with us too. And every time he saw me he offered a hug. I dunno if I was looking ill or just needed a hug but it was delightful; he gives good hugs haha~
I lost my voice some point on Saturday night, not long after Bohemian Rhapsody was played at the evening event. So Sunday was a day of miming and writing notes on my phone. My voice isn’t quite back yet either ^^;;
Alas it all ended far too soon as usual. But I am planning to go to the one in London later this year too! I’m hoping for some more remake voice actors~<3
