Today was a big day... In commemoration of the repeal of Prohibition, it seemed only fitting, as the first distillery in Maryland to legally operate stills in over 40 years, to release the first Maryland Rye Whiskey available in this century. Named in honor of Maryland's refusal to pass any state law enforcing Prohibition, I'm so happy to see Free State Rye in the bottle, and so very proud of how wonderful it is when poured out.
