Great blue heron fishing at Buena Vista Lagoon. This lagoon has had my heart since I was a child. Sadly, developers have filled quite a bit of it working to destroy California’s ONLY freshwater lagoon. But nature persists, to a much lesser degree. There was a promise that the the compacted reeds and sediment would be removed, many years later nothing has been done.
