Matt at dusk. Circa 2010. Exit 5 off of Route 24 there was an abandoned ice house that was built in 1864. Before it crumbed on January 30th, 2016, it could be seen slightly from the highway. 🔸 When Matt and I were exploring the area dusk started to set in. I felt it was a perfect time to leave and find a spot to capture a portrait of my old friend on the way out. 🔸 This area borders the Freetown State Forest, which is prime to a lot of strange occurrences. Cults, sacrifices, missing people, things of that nature. Lookup the Bridgewater Triangle if you're curious to learn more. 🔸 On the way back to the car we found some kind of facility with perfect street light hitting the side of the building. We wanted to get out quickly to avoid police or authorities, but risked staying for the prime balance of street/dusk light. 🔸 I used a tripod and a prime 24mm lens to capture Matt. The exposure was two seconds at a low ISO. @nikonusa @bridgewater_triangle #freetownstateforest (at Old Fall River Ice House)
