So in light of recent events I have made the executive decision that if Infold doesn't want Valko, we all get him.
They can't claim shit after teasing him, posting his trailers, then deciding to delete him from the fucking game bc of a vocal toxic minority of chronically online players from the Chinese side.
Remember guys, this is absolutely not an excuse to act xenophobic or weird to the chinese players at all. every fandom has a toxic minority.
but since Infold has decided to cave to the toxic minority of players, they don't get Valko anymore. Until they decide to release him, he's ours. So write his story, draw him to your heart's content, your headcanons of the puppy are now all canon.
He honestly wasn't even going to be my type, but the injustice is so palpable and pisses me off so much for the players that like him.
Valko’s cancellation disrupts the Stellactrum flow of Love and Deepspace
🐺 TL:DR → The arrival of Valko in LADS would have balanced out the Stellactrum color/gem matching system via his new Solar Myth pairs, and overall long-term combat scene within the game. Benefiting new and returning players by providing greater team-building flexibility and an accessible roster.
The most important takeaway is that because of Valko’s cancellation no LI will have Amber/Yellow Stellactrum as their primary color, particularly the 1st set of Solar Myth pairs which is the most obtainable because it is non-limited and can be exchanged via Wish Crates.
As opposed to the 2nd and 3rd sets which can only be obtained during reruns/drop-rate-up periods.
Therefore, if you wanted/needed a pair of Amber Solar Cards that are 5 Star you would have to wait when Xavier's Lightseeking Obsession & Lightseeking Shadowrend have a rerun. Or when Rafayel's Mistsea Lament & Mistsea Descent have a rerun.

What is Stellactrum?
Stellactrum is part of the protocore-shield battle system where each color is represented by a gem. In order to break and defeat Wanderers with protocore-shields, the gems aka Stellactrum need to match 100%.
Ruby/Red
Sapphire/Blue
Violet/Purple
Amber/Yellow
Emerald/Green
Pearl/Pink
For example, in Hunter Contest, you can’t break the protocore shields in combat if you’re using Ruby/Red and Sapphire/Blue memories while the battle’s requirement for a Stellactrum match is Amber/Yellow and Violet/Purple.
Why Does Valko's Stellactrum Matter?
Valko would have introduced more sets of Amber Stellactrum outside of Xavier and Rafayel.
More Sapphire Stellactrum outside of Zayne and Sylus.
And more Violet Stellactrum outside of Rafayel and Caleb.
This means more diversity of choosing who you want to main in both combat/battles and as a Love Interest instead of having to choose either or.
Limited Stellactrum = Smaller room to farm because players are limited to farming the smaller stages that they can accomplish.
But There Are Lunar Memory Cards That Are Amber!
Yes, Xavier and Rafayel have Amber as their main Stellactrum, but having the right Solar pair is also important for team building to be able to defeat Wanderers with protocore shields. Especially in higher level battles where the amount of memory cards in that color matter.

The Other Love Interests Have Amber Stellactrum!
Yes, but the number of Lunar Amber memory cards is lower than what Rafayel and Xavier have and is not a viable option long-term because
The cards are few and far between with MONTHS in between of their releases.
Many of them released during multi-banners.

Caleb 5 Star Lunar Amber Memories: 1
The absence of a Solar myth pair’s card and companion negatively impacts players who are first starting out, making their climb to having well-rounded teams more difficult as the Amber Stellactrum and protocore-fields will hold them back.
This logic also applies to well-established players who have been playing LADS for years because even though they are doing fine and have cleared stages without the Amber Stellactrum. It does NOT take away the fact that Valko's addition to the game would have balanced the Stellactrum out. Two things can be true at the same time.
Stellactrum, the Love Interests, and why it matters:
Each Love Interest fulfills a primary, secondary and tertiary colored gem Stellactrum, this is organized depending on the Stellactrum of the 5 Star Solar Myth pair Memory Cards.
In combat modes where Stellactrum matching matters. (Bounty hunt, Protocore hunt, Deepspace trails for LI, Open Orbit, Hunter contest stage etc.) Having the correct Stellactrum which is achieved through having the corresponding memory cards is essential to a majority of the farming in-game. Without them, beating higher level opponents particularly those with protocore shields becomes difficult and traps players in lower-level combat battles where rewards and materials are scarcer. Or leaves them trapped in a limbo where they are unable to advance any higher.
The 1st set of Solar memory cards and their Stellactrum is referred to as their primary, this is the pair that is released upon a Love Interest’s debut to the game. When the drop rate up event ends the memory cards remain in the Xspace echo summoning pool or can be exchanged with Wish Crates. Therefore, any player at any time can summon a primary set as opposed to the secondary and tertiary which are limited and can only be claimed via reruns.
As of July 2026, no two LI share the same primary, secondary, and tertiary order. For example, even though Zayne and Sylus both have Pearl/Pink and Sapphire/Blue Stellactrum cards, the order is different. Sapphire is Zayne’s primary while Sylus’ tertiary. Pearl is Sylus’ primary while Zayne’s tertiary.
Below Is Each LI's Solar Myth Memory Card and Stellactrum:
This would have been Valko's Stellactrum based on the previously established order.
**The most important takeaway is that because of Valko’s cancellation no LI will have Amber/Yellow Stellactrum as their primary**
Additionally, no LI will have Sapphire as a secondary so players will have to rely solely on Zayne or Sylus. Same as Violet because the only other options will be Rafayel or Caleb.
Significance?
The Amber Stellactrum is locked behind a re-run wall because only Xavier (Secondary myth) and Rafayel (tertiary myth) have it within their Solar memories.
If players wish to obtain a pair of Amber Solar memory cards and it's companion, they would have to wait when Xavier's Solar memory cards Lightseeking Obssession & Shadowren have a rerun or when Rafayel's Mistsea Lament & Descent have a rerun.
The problem is most present in the following battles modes:
Deepspace trials → Open Orbit (300 Levels) and Fluctuating Open Orbit. (60 Levels) Of course not all stages require a yellow Stellactrum, but being unable to complete the ones that do is a barrier on being able to advance.
Bounty Hunt → Lemonette → Ascension materials required for Amber and Emerald Stellactrum. Sightings 9 offers the max amount of reward possible, but Lemonette requires three Amber memory cards at level. 70 or higher.
Hunter Contest → Senior Hunting Contest → Stellactrum matching fluctuates every two weeks, with some colors appearing in a season while others don’t. Currently (7/1) there aren’t any Amber Stellactrums. In the current lineup, you need 6 Violet/Purple memory cards to match all of the Stellactrum requirements, otherwise beating the wanderers becomes too difficult resulting in incomplete stages (ie. failing to score 3 stars = lower total stage progress reward = unable to get the full 600 diamonds reward at 33 total stars
With the current example of the Violet Stellactrum, whose to say that in future seasons players won’t also be faced with 6 Amber Stellactrum?
Final Comments
Some might argue (and I do agree) that with the current stage of the game and Infold’s behaviour that something as frivolous as matching Stellactrum should be at the bottom of everyone’s concerns. However, the points that I made about the combat system and how Valko would have balanced some things out still hold true. Love and Deepspace is an Otome but it has a combat system at the same time, and to ignore it and the influence it has on other in-game features wouldn’t be the brightest move.
Farming provides diamonds, ascension materials, EXP, gold, achievements etc. that help players unlock 5 stars in the first place and subsequently level them up. Which in turn increases affinity that unlocks Secret Times, phone calls, text messages, poses, personal items for LI etc. The biggest reasons why players love memory cards is the kindled feature, memoria, and the myths for Solar pairs. However, all of this comes at the monetary cost in the form of diamonds which have to come from somewhere. (and ofc real money and deepspace wish)
Of course, the Amber Stellactrum isn’t some big clue or the end all be all which will fix the current farming system let alone the state of the game. But Valko providing greater team flexibility for the combat system is a step in a direction (I won’t comment if its positive or negative but at least its something)
“This must be your first time playing an Otome, let me expl-” Hush! People are allowed to be upset and to ask for better treatment, just because that's industry standard to treat players subpar does not make it right. Closed mouths don’t get fed and if you’re ok with an inadequate or even deteriorating game experience please go take a seat in the back.
