UPDATE for anyone curios of the fuel mileage on the Vandal on my trip this weekend. Driving back 227 miles at an average speed of ~75 mph with the AC on, the truck got 1 mpg better at 18.3 mpg vs the 17.4 mpg at an average speed of ~80 mph with AC on the way up there. 2001 Chevy short bed with a 4.8 engine and a 60e trans. Tires are 32" tall 275/55/20s. I wanted this information to compare the difference once I change from the 3.42 gears to 3.73. #vandalproject #gasmileage #freewaymileage #nbs #nbsgasmileage #gearratio
