Dear Reader,
Have no idea what to write about? Here's a fun little prompt for you:
Those bursts of creativity.
If you’ve forgotten or would like to participate, Freewrite Fridays go like this:
Every Freewrite Friday, I will be posting a prompt or challenge for you, dear reader/writer/life-liver, to write on or simply be inspired by.
Write. Post a picture. Artwork. Anything! This is your freewrite time.
Have the phrase “Freewrite Friday” or FF somewhere in the title of your post.
Have a link somewhere in your freewrite that leads to the prompt that I posted.
Reply to my post or shoot me a message with the url/link to your freewrite and I will go ahead and post all the links to your responses at the end of the day for my followers to read and enjoy. I mean, come on, these freewrites are to share with your fellow freewriters. [ALSO, I cannot go treasure hunting for your responses. So help make my life easier by sending me your links :)]
day four freewriters.

happy new year everyone!
freewrite fridayfour.
Because we did not have a prompt last week, you get two prompts! You can answer one of the prompts. Or both, if you're awesome.
Here we go:
#1. Your security blanket (figuratively speaking, or literally if you have an actual blanket).
#2. Finding beauty in the mundane.

What an awesome Christmas present! You all refresh my soul.
freewrite fridaythree.
Christmas is in two days? This is ridiculous. The end of the year snuck up on all of us like a ninja, and there is just nothing we can do about it. It would make pretty good sense if this week's Freewrite Friday had something to do with Christmas and the winter solstice. Yes, I'm a day early, but it will give you some time to think about cinnamon and peppermint.
Get your nostalgia on, because here is your prompt:
The sounds and scents of Christmas.

stellar, stellar work!
#2: travel, road trips, and skywalking. (FF)
I would like to cover this song one day with a couple of string players or a philharmonic orchestra or some full-blown parisian circus... expert jugglers exchanging bowling pins & wedding vows under some cloud-intoxicated night sky
really. it's one of the best ever
(elliott - "drive on to me." from their 2000 album false cathedrals.)
I had an additional post planned for this entry, about the grandeur of airports & the hopes & dreams of common tourists, but tumblr froze up & erased the draft :O tumblr - 2, carlo's best-laid freewrite friday intentions - 0. I'm sure one day justice will be served. but in the meantime, do enjoy the driving music. :-)
