I’m a pilot and i saw your account so i wanted to inform you that the worst holding experience of my Life was a 3 hour flight back to home base in a small plane. I drank like. Water on the way, a monster on the way back, and despite peeing at the airport it was Bad.

i was squirming in my seat and distracted talking to air traffic control i think we had to go around on the landing which made me need to hold More, and i Barely made it back to the bathroom

it was awful in the moment, but oiuhhgh. Hindsight. It’s not like a car where you can pull over on the side of the road at the worst, you have to land and taxi to the bathroom inside. And you cant have an accident in the plane because you’d ruin the seats.
