Shinah wasn’t the type of person to stare with rude intentions, he kind of just observed more, and was quiet. The people who knew him would describe him as more silent, which was definitely true. He’d stand quietly, slightly behind a tree, staring at the other with his mask on. Shinah really wasn’t sure what the other was, but was interested. It might have seemed creepy to the outsider, though he continued to stay in place. There really was a lot of things that Shinah didn’t know about, huh.

At least the older gym leader was able to feel a slight difference with the temperature in this place. A bit cold, but at least Sizzlipede was hiding in his pocket to make sure one hand kept warm. “Not as different from Moterstoke, but nothing about this is similar.” Kabu spoke to the Pokemon in his pocket before entering what seem like a steam punk area. Almost curious to see what was on this side of the island that just separates from one another.

Turning a corner, his eyes caught site of a.... well, how do you call it? It certainly wasn’t a Pokemon, thought from a glance, it could have very well been. No, this one presented itself in a different manner, almost... human? Would that be the right word? He couldn’t help but stare at the other before they lock eyes. “Clearing his throat to make this awkward scenario less awkward then it is, he would try to clear up any misunderstandings.

“I apologize. I wasn’t sure what I was expecting. I’m sure people would stare at a Pokemon if it was not from their world for a long time. I was simply curious on what you are.”
