The snow was a little... Deeper here.
Apparently there was some sort of attraction up around the hills of Mystic Falls. With the entire city, or rather, the ‘entire world’ being left in the dark, a good detective needs to investigate all facets of potential information. Setting an attraction up here means the city staff want people to visit the location. Or draw their attention away from another location. Farfetched, but not impossible. And in this quest, Kirigiri has headed for the horizon.
However, still being rather new in the city, her directional sense wasn’t exactly.... 1:1. She knew the hills were, well, this way, but rather than having a nice outline of the hills that one’d see during the daytime, all she has to go off is lights in the night. She’s too proud and defensive in this situation to worry about asking directions. Besides, she hasn’t had a good track record with the festival helpers so far...
Regardless, she feels that she’s lifting her knees more than she should out here... if it were a road the city runners would’ve made it traversable, no...? Then why is it...?
Alright, sitrep. Where are the lights? Right, up that incline. And moving towards her... wait... what’s that? Coming down the hill, is that... A sled? ...With a person on it?
Oh. And it seems to be headed right at her.
