Frek Sho - Patience #hiphop
I think I want to start making music videos again. I did one once, nine years ago! It was for "Fort Rouge" from Frek Sho's 2002 EP Papercuts. I was doing all of their album covers at the time and after seeing a previous stop-motion video i made, Spoof (who's son stars in the video) decided he wanted my paper robot guy from the Papercuts cover to be in a video, so he flew me from Edmonton to Winnipeg to make it happen. I cuddled up with DJ Kutdown in his apartment for a fun week of eating too much microwave frozen pasta, Subway, and Tim Hortons' Ice Cappuccinos as we tried to figure out how to make it happen. For my first video I think it turned out pretty good and only cost us about ten bucks to make -- we splurged on a Spiderman action figure to act as a make-shift armature for the shoot. It's an ugly city, but always super fun, so if you ever get a chance to spend time in Winnipeg, do it!
Searching through an old hard-drive, I found this better quality version of the video then what was previously on youtube.
