Weekend Extra: Q & A
Weekend Extra: Q &Â A
Hey guys! How’s the weekend going? I hope yours has been better than mine 😊 I came across this funny symbol for the friend-zone and I couldn’t stop laughing at it. I mean it simply captures the whole situation where one person has feelings for another while the other person is just like; ‘we’re friends dude, nothing more!’ :( :( Photo Credit: dailymail.co.uk The half heart shape is completed…

frelationship (noun) :
a friendship that has the potential to become a romance
10 Signs you may be in a Frelationship
The word ‘Frelationship’ speaks for itself, and no, I didn’t steal it. I just coined it (so please credit me when you use it :)
Frelationship Def: The condition or fact of being related, connected or associated, but particularly between friends, possibly involving sexual benefits that are secret to the public who perceives they exist anyways.
So I’m gonna get straight into this one. Here are the signs that you MAY be in a Frelationship (Ladies you can just change the gender on these to suit you):
1. Her family members refer to you as her "Soul Mate Non-Boyfriend" - This term was coined by @snshyne, so please credit her when you use it. It accurately and concisely describes that you two seem perfect for each other but no one can understand why you aren't together.
2. She is jealous of your other female friends like how a girlfriend would be - aka moody when you leave her to visit someone else and compares their relationship to yours. You know all dat wifey stuff.
3. You don't want your male friends who are interested in her to talk to her, yet you are only friends, so it shouldn't be a problem.
4. She has affectionate pet names for you that she doesn't use with anyone else, and it is purely in the name of 'friendship', like "love", "boo", "Sweetie", "hun", and don't forget the name of her favourite fruit or vegetable - "pumpkin", in Jamaica "Sugar Plum"; Don't forget other foods as well - "Dumplin", "Sweetie pie"...I think you get the point on this one.
5. Her male friends ask about you - This is a separate point from 6. below because they function completely differently. Her male friends are basically asking "Who's that punk you're always around? I like you. If he isn't your man, why are you always with him?". These questions of course remain unanswered or are answered with a generic pre-planned answer.
6. Her female friends ask about you - They basically want to know if you have had sex with him, and if it was good, and if it was so good, then why aren't you together. It starts with them liking you, then leads to them kinda like-hating you because they become frustrated that you both aren't together, and they don't want to see their girl get hurt.
7. His male friends ask him about you - Who is this girl, and why do you spend so much time with her? Have you had sex? People strangely just love to know about sex. Sad it consumes so much of their brain space, but this is the truth. Males are less concerned about your commitment to her, but more about your personal happiness.
8. His female friends ask him about you - They ask the same things the male friends ask, but they are strangely protective of you, and their initial instincts are not to like the poor girl, even if they have never met her or know anything important about her.
9. You MAY be friends with or without benefits but people think you are banging whether you are or not, and you have that 'we are in a bubble' thing going on even when you are with a group of people.
10. You may end up getting married many years later, thus confirming your undying love for each other, which you denied in your younger years, and making a few people rich from age old bets that it would happen.
I would say you need to have at least 2 of these to be in a frelationship, and there are definitely a few where only one is necessary to confirm a frelationship. So are you in a frelationship?
