This French Dressing Burger will take your burger game to the next level. The secret is in the tangy French dressing made in the style of vinaigrette. It gives your burger a new twist. Excellent for a summer barbecue or any time you want a tasty and filling burger.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 burger buns. 1/2 cup French dressing vinaigrette style. 4 slices Swiss cheese. 4 lettuce leaves. 4 slices of tomato. 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper. Place the burger patties on the grill or in the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or longer for your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of Swiss cheese to each patty and cover to melt the cheese. While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster. Spread French dressing on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top of the dressing, followed by a tomato slice and some red onion slices. Once the cheese has melted on the burger patties, transfer them to the prepared buns. Top with the other half of the bun, and your French Dressing Burgers are ready to serve!
