I remember, you know? I remember the city where I used to live and what my dad looked like and how his voice sounded, I remember my room and my bed and what feeding on envy felt like and mundane everyday shit like how it felt when that little nook between my tail and my back got sweaty in the heat, how it felt to hover in place with my weird lil wings placed just above the base of my spine, I remember the smells and the feelings, and the songs I listened to, and how it felt to be a stronger and wealthier and more vivid and sometimes much more real feeling version of me

and I still have to go to work and do dishes and shit.

here’s the thing: imps aren’t like, an offshoot species from demons or something, the way that kobolds and dragons are different creatures with shared cultures and similar physiologies. imps are just another type of demon, just a specific demonic ‘ethnicity’, if you get what I mean. imps are just people, you know? an imp isn’t some lesser being or separate species, that’s just some guy. and you can’t own some guy, and there’s a weird dynamic of ownership with dragons and kobolds that just doesn’t feel right? I dunno, man. I just don’t get it.

honestly I really do need to get more art of myself. I wanna make it easier for people to visualize me properly, especially my friends, and I wanna be able to commission stuff and do art trades too. once I have income again maybe I’ll commission a reference sheet or something, get some art of me that I didn’t do myself
