Nykaa Fresh Aqua Shower Gel
Hello everyone! This is the first time I am reviewing a beauty product. The product I’ll be reviewing today is Nykaa Fresh Aqua Shower Gel.
Nykaa is an e-commerce company founded in 2012 and operates in India. Nykaa sells over 300 brands(in cosmetics including bath and body range). Nykaa has recently launched their bath and body products in various fragrances like Fresh Aqua, Tropical Jasmine, Country Rose and French Lavender.
Price: 450 (Indian Rupees) for 300 ml
Ingredients:
DM Water, Disodium EDTA, Glycerin, SLES, CAPB, Cresmer CME, EGDS, PQ 7, Kathon CG, Silicone Oil 350cst/ Dimethicone, Colour, Sodium Chloride, Perfume.
About the shower gel:
Glycerin: Retains water in the outermost skin layers. It helps to retain the moisture as the detergents in the shower gel dry the skin.
Sodium Chloride: Sodium chloride is simply salt. Salt is stimulating, cleansing, antiseptic and astringent. It is softening and hydrates the skin.
How to use: Pour water on your body. Gently lather the gel with the help of a loofah. Rinse thoroughly.
What I love about this shower gel:
It smells really good.
It comes in a good bottle packaging and has a press type bottle cap so you can take the right amount of shower gel.
A coin sized amount is enough for the entire body.
It refreshes and energizes you. The aqua scent leaves you feeling refreshed.
Since this has aqua fragrance, it is really effective in calming down your senses in the summers.
My skin definitely feels softer and smoother compared to the bath soaps I’ve tried previously.
Cons of the shower gel:
The price is a little higher.
The cap is a one side press cap so sometimes while opening a little bit of the shower gel tends to fall out since the bottle is nearly full.
Without a loofah, it doesn’t lather much and feels runny on the skin.

Would I recommend this product?
For those hot summer days, when you want to beat the heat but the sun’s literally heating up your water tank, try this shower gel. You feel refreshed and since it has glycerin, it does not dry out my skin as well. Suitable for all skin types.
