Freshco (real name Shawn Conrad) is a New York rapper best known for winning the New Music Seminar Battle for World Supremacy in the late ‘80s, and later partnering with renowned DJ Miz on Tommy Boy’s hip-hop classic “We Don’t Play” from 1990. As Freshco he even rapped with The Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z after being on Tommy Boy Records from 1989-1991, as he was an original Roc-a-fella member. In 1995 he attended the Academy of Dramatic arts, becoming one of the fastest post audio sound mixers around. He has worked doing promos for The Matrix movie, King Of The Hill, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon, among others. You may also recognize the rapper's voice on the theme song of the animated series One Piece.
