Till the time Cafe Coffee Day came into being the only coffee I was exposed was #filterkaapi Because it's emotion and addiction Out of curiosity I visited the Cafe Coffee Day when it opened in Chennai; I was clueless on what to order because #filterkaapi was not part of the menu then but later it was added to the menu. I think my fellow CA student Friend adviced me to pick #Cappuccino closest to my #filterKaapi; I emptied my pocket paid to drink it I guess I did not enjoy it because it was not a match to my Kaapi but was in awe looking at the art on the foam. When I came back home; I did not reveal to my parents that I paid a bomb for a coffee fearing their wrath. They would have never understood that a coffee costs that much ☹️ Simaltaneously Fresh n Ground- Kaapi powder outlet were also getting opened across the city; we were made loyal customers immediately and it was obvious because of the amount of filter coffee my father n I used to gulp and constant replenishment of the our blend was the need of the hour. We will go together to encash the loyalty points; my appa will the sole custodian of the Loyalty card. He will be very careful with the card; it will be kept in our safe😉😉😉. We have got few goodies I remember getting Kaapi filter; milk cooker et all. More than the goodies this is were I learnt to make my prefect blend of Peaberry and Plantation A. We were very particular about the freshness of the coffee; we will buy only 250gms packet and replenish again in same quantity; my brother who did not like Kaapi did not understand the brouhaha I created over the Kaapi blend; but Kaapi is an emotion only the coffee lover will understand and appreciate these dramas.
