Ahead of the 2016-17 season (and preseason matches in California just weeks away!), we’ve got an announcement: the Fresno Gooners are moving to Strummer’s!
We’d like to thank Craig & the fantastic team at Peeve’s for being the most wonderful, gracious, friendly hosts over our first 3 seasons. Genuinely, the soccer culture that’s emerged in Fresno doesn’t get its’ start without Craig saying yes to 4:45am kick-offs, art shows and pints in the wee hours of the morning. Peeve’s has been a space where genuine community has taken shape and all of us are incredibly grateful for that space, Craig; we can’t wait to see Peeve’s reopen once the street is in place. Cheers to you!
That said, we’re excited to partner with Strummer’s moving forward. Brandon and the crew there have done well, hosting & growing the Liverpool supporters group in town and we look forward to the banter, the beer and Arsenal winning the league in 2016-17! Very little will change with the move: all games will be shown, Strummer’s is all ages and we’ll have our own space on the main venue side with an HD projector and massive screen.

And in a stroke of beautiful coincidence, the Premier League season kicks off with Arsenal vs. Liverpool on Sunday, August 14th at 8am.
