Reposted from @expert_fretwork For the first time ever, I finally have all 3 of these guitars done, playable, and in the same room. Feels great! The #Concorde V specifically has been something I’ve wanted for half my life. It took nearly 5 years to finish building since I couldn’t take it to Singapore with me. That project could not have been possible without the help of @disposableherox for some sizing and design help, and @williamsonguitars for the paintwork. Also, shoutout to #fretsonthenet for some help with the brass hardware on the Concorde V. My replica of the guitar that Grover Jackson and Mike Shannon built for Randy Rhoads back in the early 80’s has been a labor of love for several years now, trying to get it painstakingly accurate, minus the upper register cutaway access. The body is solid maple, just like the original. Neck-through construction, just like the original, the only one I’ve ever built. All brass tremolo, just like the original. In a few days I’ll try and get a good video of some playing, maybe with all 3. • • • •#guitar #handmade #builtbyhand #guitardesign #expertfretwork #custominstrument #getplekd #luthier #luthiery #whatsonyourbench #guitargasm #customguitar #dankluthiery #dreamguitar #randyrhoads #ozzy #ozzyosborne #diaryofamadman #blizzardofozz #randyrhoadsguitar #randyrhoadsforever https://www.instagram.com/p/CSGJEBMso098QEoe-pGAoPEf68o8Pek_6iDjXY0/?utm_medium=tumblr
