Some of you may have seen some new prints at markets that I haven't shared here yet. I'm working on a series that features all sorts of animals, here is the Raven!

Momo crossed the rainbow bridge on this day three years ago now... I've spent the last few hours trying to go through photos which is always so incredibly hard... Taking photos of wiggling noodles was always a huge challenge and its so disheartening to know that I only have what I have (which I know is a lot and I'm lucky I blogged their lives and took as many photos as I did, but it's never enough). Knowing I cannot set up another photo shoot to take pictures of my angel makes me so sad.
Mummy misses you Momo, so much. I wish we could all curl up on the couch together again. This isn't a perfectly clear photo of baby Momo, but I love it so much. Dook in peace baby girl, love you.
I'm a little behind in posting this, but in June I finished up a second mural at John MacLure Community School.
I decided to illustrate he salmon life cycle in almost a story book or colouring page theme. The mural is located in a large "nook" in the hallway at the main entrance featuring two spawning sockeye. Trailing behind behind the mural is additional flowing imagery of salmon eggs, fry, and alevin. It was a challenge taking a full photo of the space due to limitations of the hallway space and lighting. You can also see the Thunderbird mural I created last year out the window.
Kid's Community Mural @chilliwackmuralfestival 2024! (more pictures available on my instagram @ frettchanstudios
What a wild day! I had a great time facilitating the kid's community "Indigi-mon" mural! Thank you to everyone who came to help me paint, you all did a great job and I only have a little bit of touch-up to do before it's finished (when it is I'll post the final product)!
This mural is looking for a forever home. If you're interested to buy it for a donation please send an email to [email protected] / [email protected]
THANK YOUS:
I love @chilliwackmuralfestival, thank you for having me be a part of your event again! Thank you to @goufv for sponsoring this project! And a big thanks to my hubs Joshua who helped with everything from set up, food/water, clean up, and working my vendor booth with my sister Chanessa! I'm also thankful for the support of my family who came out to paint, enjoy the festival, and help with clean up! And to everyone who came out to paint, supported my work, made a purchase or a nice comment, I appreciate you!
Xsgaak (Eagle), Latex on Plywood, 2024
My new oversized painting debuted on August 7th @vinesartsociety 2024 Vines Festival at Stanley Park!
It was display again at Oppenheimer Park (August 14th), Grandview Park (August 15th), and will be available to view at Trout Lake Park (August 17th)!
Thank you for having me and my artwork again @vinesartsociety!
Just wrapped up this mural for Waypoint | PLEA Community Services.
Some of the youth had the opportunity to practice their painting skills and assist me while I worked. Thank you for having me!
The salmon come through this area so including them in the mural was important along with a suggested eagle. I decided to have the eagle catching a salmon. The eagle will be fed and the carcass to be dropped to not only feed other animals but also the earth through the soil that will feed our forests. The salmon are such a vital and precious life source.
This was a pretty large undertaking! They wanted to find a way to pretty up the SeaCan with a mural and corrugated surfaces are a nightmare. So we opted to dry out 5 pieces of pressure-treated plywood earlier this year and install those on the side of the bin as a canvas. It wouldn't have been possible without the technical and installation help of our contractor friend Frank, my father-in-law Darrell, and my husband Joshua.
The Journey Home - Nass Valley
Film photograph of me in our village by my sister Chanessa Perry with an overlay of my eagle design.
I had the opportunity to go on the Journey Home, to our ancestral lands in the Nass with my mother and sisters!
Put together by Nisga'a Ts'amiks Vancouver Society and the Nisga'a Lisims Government - Nisga'a Nation. Everyone in each village made it so special, we felt so loved and welcomed. T'ooyaḵsiy̓ n̓iin to everyone involved! I'm longing to be back, soon.

Some 4" x 4" paintings. The two on the left were a part of The Big Tiny exhibition at the @karitonartgallery and the two on the right I brought with me to the @newwestcraft Indigenous Market. All are sold! But I still have a few of these tiny canvases lying around for future use!
