We had to say goodbye to our sweet girl Princess this past week. She was a very special girl and will be missed by all who knew her.

Goodnight my princess, we love you and miss you very much and we wish you luck on your journey to paradise.

A year ago today, I lost someone very special to me. Perhaps very special to all of us. Not a day has gone by that he isn’t in my thoughts. Although sometimes sad, I am glad he still lives inside of me. Although Oreo may no longer be on this earth, he will always remain in my heart. Love you forever my fluffy boy. 💚

My girl is gone ...

It’s with a heavy heart that I write this post. Today a piece of my heart resides on the rainbow bridge. When I woke up today and went to find one of my cats,Finny, hex was hiding in my closet. I picked him up and carried him downstairs for his breakfast. I set him down and he BOLTED away, dragging one of his legs. I went to him and felt his back legs. Both were cold. The left one was not responding to a toe pinch. He looked just *off*. Like tucking his tail, his body posture etc. I managed to get him in to see the vet. What I received was not good news. He has pretty severe heart disease that caused him to throw a clot that caused a saddle block (down both legs). Could go see a cardiologist and get more tests but with his heart issues it was likely he would throw more clots. Along with his thyroid disease that is not responding well to medication and eventually can turn into a tumor. So I made the difficult decision to let him go. He passed peacefully. In my arms.

I drove him out to Longfeather Lane. My daughter @kedreeva already had a hole dug in her orchard. We buried him, said a prayer and planted a native Mulberry tree on his grave.

So light a candle, say a prayer and hold your fur babies close tonight as I miss mine!

Jimmy's kidneys shut down. He was doing very badly and was in a lot of pain. There was only one merciful choice. This morning I gave him a taste of real chocolate while the vet prepared the meds to ease him to sleep, and I held him close through his final moments. He's not in pain anymore. He'll never hurt again.

Thank you for 13 wonderful, funny, cuddly years of love, my little Jimmy bean. You were so full of love and you were so, so loved. I miss you so much already.

This is Libby. After 15 years she had to say goodbye in January. The best girl anyone could ask for. Until her health declined she would be on the bed every night, pressed up against me. I want to blaze her out to the world because 1: she deserves it, 2: for anyone who's lost a pet take a moment to remember them, and 3: for those whose pets are still with them, go give 'em a kiss on the head, belly rub or ear scratch.
