He loves that he has to bend forward for her to reach his forehead.

He loves the way her hands wrap around his face and neck, her thumbs resting on his cheeks, her fingers always warm against his skin, as she pulls him down to her lips.

He loves the face she makes, whenever he resists her action initially. And the fact that the face doesn't go away even when he does give in, as he always does.

He loves how her lips feel: warm, soft, sometimes wet, when it presses against his forehead.

He loves that his eyes always close on their own accord, shutting out what senses he can to heighten the way the kiss feels against his skin.

He loves how she frequently lingers there, even if her lips are no longer touching him, and sometimes he can feel her breath tickling the tiny hairs on his forehead.

He loves that for a moment, as the corners of his lips curl upwards, it feels like it's just the two of them, and everything else will figure itself out eventually.

And.

He hates that when his eyes open, all the warm and cozy thoughts dissipate into the air.
