"I'm sorry," Freya sighed, raking a hand through her hair. "I'm still a little skittish from those shadow things over the weekend." She peeked up at him through her hair. "Forgive me?" she asked with a hint of a smile.

Freya rolled her eyes. "I wasn't even talking to you," she retorted before she stopped and took a deep breath. "Sorry," she muttered. "I'm...not having a good day today." Between that time of the month and the weird apparitions she'd been seeing, she'd been in an absolutely horrible mood.

"Oh totally," Freya said, drawing her knees up to her chest as she tried to ignore the way her heart was fluttering every time she looked at him for even two seconds. "So what happened this time?"

"Yeah and don't call me babygirl or I will feed you to whatever's in the forest," Freya grumbled. She'd been in a horrible mood all day and despite feeling a flicker of guilt for snapping at him like that....well, she'd probably try to apologize to him later.

"Damn," Freya said with a small pout. "Now I've got to decide what else I want for dinner instead." With an overdramatic sigh, she flopped back in her chair and laughed softly. "Any ideas?"

"Long story short, I may have developed a crush on a friend of mine from home, but he doesn't have his memories, and it absolutely sucks," Freya mumbled, pulling her knees up to her chest. "Because I'm not planning to tell him until he does get his memories back, but what if he never does?"

Freya huffed softly and folded her arms. "Don't tell me it's okay, I could care less if it was okay right now," she grumbled, rubbing the back of her neck.

Freya paused for a moment. Nobody had asked her how old she was before, and despite being a little unsure about answering, she did so anyway.

"Five hundred and thirty-two...I basically got cursed with immortality when my kingdom got destroyed five hundred years ago," she explained softly, then tilted her head. "How about you? If you don't mind."
