I rewrote Abraxas’ bio to more suit future events I’d like to unfold, made him more of a hardcore leader and less of a lackadaisical one like he was before, with Sivath as his second-in-command and Beta to his Alpha. Click the Read More to check it out :D
In the deepest, darkest thickets of the Hewn City lay a small fae, barely able to open his eyes. He heard something approaching him and attempted to hide in his wings, as if they would make him invisible. "Hi!", a small voice peeped. He peeked out from his wing to see a Guardian hatchling sitting beside him. "Are you playing a game? Can I play too?!", she exclaimed, lifting her wing over her face. "N-no, I'm hiding! Shh, you'll make too much noise and we'll get spotted", Abraxas said as he hid back under his wing. "Don't worry, I'll protect you!", the voice said confidently. She was at least five times his size, she certainly had nothing to fear. "What's your name? Mine's Sivath!" "Ab-Abraxas... " He lowered his wing from his face again, this time really looking at the dragon sitting next to him. She was around the same age as he was, and from the looks of it just as alone as him as well. "I think you're my Charge! I don't really know what that means, and I've been searching around for something and I didn't know what but I just feel this weird need and I think I found what I'm looking for!", Sivath said as she gave Abraxas a headbutt, probably a little too hard, almost knocking the little guy over! "Hey, watch it! I'm small!, Abraxas exclaimed, letting out a little chuckle. He tried to headbutt her back but much harder, to her barely even a nuzzle. Laying down, feeling defeated after that poor attempt he shut his eyes to rest. Sivath stood over him and enveloped him with her wings, laying down beside him and clutching him close with her tail. Yep, this felt right to her, she had definitely found what she was searching for.
The two were virtually inseparable and grew up together, just the two of them. They had tried to seek out other clans to join in the Sunbeam Ruins but no one would accept them. Everyone looked down upon them since they weren't from royalty or another known clan. Abraxas had become fed up with trying to find another clan to join and decided to become the head of his own! Sivath was happy to become his second-in-command, or Beta to his Alpha. They decided to name themselves The Horde of the Lucent Vagabonds. The two traveled the lands, slowly welcoming others into their ranks, mostly outcasts or others who enjoyed a life of travel as well. Abraxas ruled his Horde with somewhat strict rules and regulations, it must have been the Light in him. Sivath made sure all who joined followed his regulations and as Beta she had her input in matters most important.
Never quite feeling like he belonged anywhere Abraxas felt the need to travel abroad, visiting every nook and cranny of Sornieth he could, always trying to find somewhere that felt like home, but nowhere quite did. That is until Ancaster joined the Horde. Abraxas was immediately captivated by his character and the two grew to be fast friends. Ancaster always spoke of his homeland of Dragonhome, telling stories of the gorgeous relics and crystals found there, and Abraxas just couldn't get enough. He would sometimes drive Ancaster crazy with questions, but he couldn't help it! The Horde hadn't traveled much through Dragonhome, as a great part of it is just a barren wasteland so he thought there wasn't much there to discover, but Abraxas was very, very wrong. Incredibly intrigued, the Horde took a few trips there with Ancaster leading the way as the Earth Ambassador and Abraxas felt like he was home. Looking at how the light refracted through the crystals made him feel so warm inside, like this was truly where he was meant to be. Ever since he was born he never really felt at home in the Sunbeam Ruins, not being able to live up to the glittery glam the other dragons from Light seem to exude. But in Dragonhome there was none of that, no expectations, just beautiful stony landscapes and jagged crystal formations found in Cairnestone Rest. After approaching Sivath and elder dragons of the Horde about a move they discussed it among themselves, with very few objecting to the move. Ancaster was ecstatic to be moving back to his homeland, and as head excavator, he was more than pleased to bulldoze some lair space for the Horde.
It's hard to believe that this mighty Snapper that stands before you now was once that tiny Fae! Abraxas wasn't seeking the change but rather fell into it, quite literally.
