SUFFERING   HAD   PASSED   THEM   BY ,           unlike   most   who   yearned   the   return   of   dearest   friends   lost ,     lovers   burnt   and   driven   into   soil   by   the   hands   of   the   mad   titan  ––––––––        a   titan   deceived .        the   serpent   had   fooled   all ,    and   survived   a   fate   met   by   most .          they   look   upon   the   creature ,    silenced   in   his   grief .     they   bear   him   little   pity ,    nor   comfort.     mere   curiosity   as   them   observe ,    and   pick   for   answers   to   folly   queries.                    ❛     what   have   you   now ,      now   that   your    GUARDIANS   ARE   DEAD    ?      ❜

          The last thing they needed was for Rocket to bite someone who thought themselves in a power position with the mess unleashed thanks to Thanos. “ Hey, ” Steve’s voice was steady, the look on his face stern as he’d gripped Rocket by the back of his neck the way one might grab a cat, arm outstretched in order to avoid having the other turn around and attack him. “ I need you to calm down, and I need you to do it NOW. ” he didn’t even listen to Rocket’s warning as he turned around, not even bothering to apologize for either of their sake as he turned to leave with him.  Maybe it would be best to keep the two ‘troublemaker’; aka HIM and Rocket, away from the politicians.

  Once they left the room,  he put Rocket back to his feet,  holding his hands out in surrender.

                             “ Are you calm or do I have to SIT on you,  buddy? ”
