Einsamheim. A rumor-shadowed isle that rests by the misty shores of Galar, haunted by powers ancient as memory. When a group of students disappears without a trace, a reluctant Pokémon trainer joins the investigation, accompanied by her faithful old friends: Garnet, a reckless Raboot, and Jasper, a poised Floragato.

What begins as just another missing-person case soon curdles into something far stranger. The island holds its own designs, shrouded by unnatural fog. The forests stand silent.
